No-one wants to think about the sadness of losing a family member or friend but inevitably, sooner or later, we all do. A personal ceremony can provide comfort to those who are bereaved and be a fitting tribute to the one who has passed away.

My main focus is in providing the best possible service to the family by providing a respectful and appropriate funeral ceremony.  I can meet with you and create a ceremony that meets your needs, reflects the attributes of the one you have lost and, if you wish, involves family and friends in an appropriate role.

My Personal Commitment as a Funeral Celebrant                    
I recognise the social, cultural and moral significance of the funeral service in the Australian community which is underpinned by the importance of strong and respectful family relationships.

  • I will compose a funeral service using information and guidance from the family.
  • I will endeavour in every way to prepare and conduct a funeral service which meets their needs and expectations.
  • I will visit the family in order to discuss their needs and to plan the service.
  • I will ensure that my personal appearance is in keeping with the dignity of the occasion.
  • I will arrive at the service venue at least 20 minutes prior to the beginning of the service.
  • I will put the needs of the family above all other considerations.
  • I will maintain a high standard of service in my professional conduct and practice.
  • I will act in an ethical manner at all times.
  • I will ensure accuracy in the preparation of documents.
  • I will respect the privacy and confidentiality of all parties.
  • I welcome feedback from the parties.
